From traditional Scottish tunes such as Scotland the Brave and the Flower of Scotland, to Irish tunes such as the Danny Boy and the Rakes of Mallow, to Hawaiian tunes like Hawaiʻi Aloha and Aloha Oʻe, the band plays all types of popular music. We have traditional military tunes and popular patriotic tunes such as America the Beautiful and Yankee Doodle Dandy. The band provides appropriate tunes for weddings, such as Mari's Wedding and Highland Cathedral and also somber tunes for funerals and memorial services, such as Amazing Grace and the Dark Island. The tunes listed in the sections below are just a small sampling of the band's entire repertoire of music.
Our band is inspired by traditional Celtic music and customs, a deep appreciation for the history of the music, a wish to preserve and honor the Celtic music and culture, and a deep love for these beautiful islands we are blessed to be able to perform in and call home. Our members share a deep commitment to our mission statement and strive to provide the highest levels of music performances possible.
You might see the band on parade on Oahu marching to the patriotic sounds of the Marine Corps Hymn, the Army Goes Rolling Along or Semper Paratus. On the 4th of July, you might hear the sounds of America the Beautiful or You're a Grand Old Flag. Most certainly at one point you will hear the strains of our Hawaiian tunes, Aloha Oʻe and Hawaiʻi Aloha.
The band participates in several annual Christmas events in Honolulu. There are neighborhood parades and performances throughout Honolulu during the Christmas season. Hear the band play Christmas favorites such as Good King Wenceslas, O Come All Ye Faithful, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas at the annual City Lights parade in downtown Honolulu during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
